11 Geeta phogat Geeta Phogat  was born on 15 December 1988 is a   freestyle wrestler  who won India's first ever gold medal in wrestling at the Commonwealth Games in 2010. She is also the first Indian female wrestler to have qualified for the  Olympic Summer Games . She comes from Balali village in  Bhiwani district ,  Haryana . Her father  Mahavir Singh Phogat , a former wrestler himself and a   Dronacharya Award  recipient, is also her coach. Phogat won the Gold medal at the   Commonwealth Wrestling Championship  held   n  Jalandhar ,  Punjab  between 19 and 21 December 2009.   10. Mithali Dorai Raj     Mithali Dorai Raj  was born on 3 December 1982. She is an Indian cricketer and the captain of the Indian Women's cricket team in Tests and ODI.  Often regarded as one of the greatest cricketing batters to have ever played the game, she is the highest run-scorer in women's international cricket and the only female cricketer to surpass the 6,000-run mark in ODIs. 9. Arundhati Bhattacharya   Arundhati Bhattacharya  is an  Indian   banker  and former Chairman of the  State Bank of India . She is the first woman to be the Chairman of  State Bank of India  . In 2016, she was listed as the  25th most powerful woman in the world  by  Forbes . Bhattacharya joined SBI in September 1977. 8 KIRAN BEDI Kiran Bedi  was born 9 June 1949 is a retired  Indian Police Service  officer, social activist, former  tennis  player and politician who is the current  Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry . She is the first woman to join the  Indian Police Service  (IPS). She remained in service for 35 years before taking voluntary retirement in 2007 as Director General,  Development. 7 PRATIBHA PATIL Pratibha Devising Patil  was born on 19 December 1934 is an Indian politician who served as the 12 th president of India from 2007 to 2012. A member of the Indian national congress, Patil is the only women to hold the office. She previously served as the Governor of Rajasthan from 2004 to 2007.     6.  MARY KOM Chungneijang Mary Kom Hmangte was on born 24 November 1982 and better known as  Mary Kom . She is an  INDIAN OLYMPIC  boxer hailing from the   Kom  tribe in  Manipur .   5 Manushi Chhillar     Manushi Chhillar  (born 14 May 1997) is an Indian model and the winner of the MISS WORLD 2017  pageant. She represented the state of Haryana at the  FEMINA MISS INDIA 2017 pageant , which she won. Chhillar is the sixth Indian woman to win the MISS WORLD  pageant.
